Please don't pass me by
Last night i (telescopically speaking that is) studied the moon in a little better detail than before. amazing the craters and 'seas'. it takes a long time to get to know someone, and the moon.

Primero la mala noticia. Esta carta se refiere a cosas que ya sucedieron en 2003 :(
pero.... in a nice twist of fate, la buena noticia es que Martes will again be excellent for viewing beginning november.
"...not as close as in 2003, but in many ways the 2005 opposition is better for viewing in the northern hemisphere. Mars' closest approach will be on October 29 in 2005 [with opposition 7 nov], and this year it will be much further north on the ecliptic. That means it will be higher in the sky than it was in 2003, and we northern observers will be looking through fewer miles of atmosphere."
